GPS PPS signal - used to condition accurate internal clock. Source trigger accuracy to +/- one microsecond. Mesh Radio Network (MRN) used during deployment to assign channel number and during recording to check status of SAU, geophones, battery (QC functions). Cable-less no longer means QC-less.
