1 ORTO-DA THEATER PRESENTS: The Orto-da theatre group was established in Tel-Aviv, Israel in 1996 Orto-da offers you fresh, surprising and exciting theatre performances.
2 A PERFORMANCE WHICH COMBINES MUSIC AND MOVEMENT, TRANSFORMING MEMORY INTO FUTURE DREAMS STONES
3 The name Orto-Da expresses the tension between the desire To save old ways of Thinking and past theatre form, and the ambition to Create new ones.The first half of the world is taken from Orthodox, witch relates to cultural memory and roots The second half of the world is taken from the world Dada, a Cultural movement that explored New territories of art. Combining the two words creates an artistic harmony.
4 The show is performed by six Mime artists who, using subtle Acting, a unique Soundtrack and original visual Metaphors create a new Theatrical language.
5 Stones deals with the passion for life, The heroic myth & the victory of the spirit within Modern times.
6 Through this resurrection some painful concepts are conveyed About the darkest period in the troubled history of the world.
