32 KnowHow2GO 2 School Summer-long reading program Build math into your activities – Review Common Core State Standards Visit a college campus Visitors to talk about their college experiences Learn about a College of the Week Workshops for parents or including parents in activities

33 KnowHow2GO 2 School Learn about college mascots Help students enter KnowHow2GO contest Help students use the Indiana Career Explorer (6 th grade and upmake sure Grad Plan is up- to-date) Have math or Language Arts sessions to help students prepare for back to school Tour the building (for incoming students)

34 KnowHow2GO 2 Work Visit a jobsite (architects office, vet, etc.!) Set up a Take Your Child to Work day Create a matching gamematch length/type of education to the career Have students present reports on careers Play dress-up with career uniforms (nurse, carpenter, etc.)
