1 502 ISG/JA Law Day 2014 Art Contest The contest is open to all Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Reserve Component Servicemembers stationed at JBSA-Lackland, their children, and DoD civilians who work at JBSA-Lackland. All entries must be submitted by 15 May Contest Rules and Entry Form are attached.

2 2014 Law Day Art Contest Rules All participants must be (a) an Active Duty, Air National Guard, or Reserve Component Servicemember stationed at JBSA–Lackland; (b) a child of a parent who falls into category (a); or (c) a DoD civilian working at JBSA–Lackland. All entries must relate in some way to this years National Law Day theme – Why Every Vote Matters. Common art supplies may be used (crayons, pencils, markers, paints, chalk, ink, etc.). All entries must be hand-delivered no later than 3:00 p.m. on 15 May 2014 at 1701 Kenly Avenue, Room 125, JBSA-Lackland, Texas Only one 8½ x 11 piece of paper will be accepted from each participant/artist. One side of the page will contain the completed entry form, and the reverse side of the page will contain the art work. No entry may exceed the 8½ x 11 measurement. An entry form may be picked up from the Legal Office, Room 125, and may be copied and shared with other eligible participants. Each participant must certify that s/he actually created the art work. Parents must certify their childs entry form. If the entry form/art does not conform to these rules, the entry will be disqualified. Participants will be judged in the following age categories: 510, 1120, 2140, and 41Up. First, Second and Third place ribbons will be awarded in each age category. Winners will be notified by personal address or phone. Winners must agree to allow their art to be published in any medium (news print, social media, etc.). Winning entries will be displayed in the JBSA–Lackland Legal Office from 1-30 June All remaining art work will be available for pick up on June 5-6 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Any remaining art work will be discarded.

Certification: I certify that I am the person who created the art work on the reverse side of this page, and that I am the only person who created it. If I am a parent of a minor child, I certify my child is the only person who created the art work on the reverse side of this page.
