19 MasterCard has a contractual obligation to follow and abide by the creative guidelines established by each property. In order to use MasterCard Sponsorship Assets, all partners must also follow these guidelines. All creative/communication material must be submitted to the property owner (via LA/C Sponsorship) for previous approval. Please note that the properties require up to 10 business days ( from the moment they receive the material) to provide approval and/or feedback. Any non-compliance with the property guidelines can jeopardize MasterCards relationship with the property owner and even result in legal actions. The LA/C Sponsorship department is available to provide information and clarify any doubts regarding the approval process. The more the guidelines are followed, the faster the approval will be. 20 Promotional Guidelines An English translation of all content included in the program/promotion and the approval form filled-in is required MasterCard MUST clearly be the HERO behind any program/promotion: MasterCard in association with [Name] MasterCard in collaboration with [Name] MasterCard together with [Name] Customers may not pass through any MasterCard/UCL rights: No third party parties (e.g. hotel) can be named in the promotion We can carry out promotions in connection with both a bank and a merchant i.e. co-branded cards (excl. the Unicredit core markets) No joint programs/promotions are allowed with competitors of official UCL sponsors TICKETS CANNOT BE SOLD, AUCTIONED OR BID ON.

21 Usage of official marks and designations Only the Official Card composite mark may be used for MasterCards programs/promotions with a customer or a merchant All partner logos cant be bigger than the MasterCards logo within the composite logo. MasterCard is an Official Sponsor of the UEFA Champions League MUST always appear legibly and prominently When UCL tickets are mentioned, the phrase Tickets are courtesy of MasterCard MUST appear legibly and prominently When a MasterCard ® card is referred, it should be referred to as a "[Bank Name] MasterCard Card" and not a "[Bank Name] Card UEFA Champions League may not be translated. It must remain in English in all programs/promotions When referencing the event, always use the complete name UEFA Champions League and always keep it in one line The customers name may not appear immediately before or after the events name

22 Affinity Cards 1. MasterCard shall not be entitled to: Produce affinity cards in any of Unicredits Core Territories in connection with Financial Institutions with the exception of Unicredit. In all other markets (outside the 23 territories), MasterCard has the right to develop an affinity card with its banks. In any case, any name or logo of a Financial Institution featured on an Affinity Product shall be positioned/used in such a way so as to ensure that it is clear that MasterCard (and not the Financial Institution) is the sponsor of the Competition. In this regard, we shall ensure that: The name or logo of the Financial Institution is not bigger than the MasterCard Logo The name or logo of the relevant Financial Institution shall not be positioned close or adjacent to the MasterCard Logo featured on the Affinity Product The following designation is always used immediately below the name or logo of the relevant Brand featured on the Affinity Product: «MasterCard is the Official Card of the UEFA Champions League» An appropriate Composite Logo shall be featured on the reverse side of the Affinity Product. 2. Affinity cards with a merchant are prohibited in any country

23 Affinity Cards Set out below is an example of an Affinity Product design that would satisfy the above requirements. Please bear in mind that the design and layout of each Affinity Product shall always be subject UEFAs and the Franchises prior written approval.

24 Creative Guidelines In case you need to create communication assets besides the ones MasterCard is providing you, please consider the following:

27 UEFA encourages joint promotions with other UCL co-sponsors: Any use of brand, designation or product of a UCL co-sponsor must be approved by UEFA and the co-sponsor Kindly notice that the UEFA is entitled to spend up to 12 business days before providing their feedback and this is EXCLUDING THE TIME MASTERCARD WILL SPEND REVIEWING THE CREATIVE MATERIAL. 28 DONTS: It is not allowed to feature the colors, names, logos or branding of any football club whether or not connected to the competition It is not allowed to feature the names or image of any players, coaches, stadiums or officials, whether or not connected to the competition It is not allowed to make any references to a team and/or player that can be perceived as endorsing and or supporting that specific team/player e.g. Follow Liverpool Football Club in the UEFA Champions League Teams in the UCL

29 UCL images (action shots) are made available by MasterCard Europe, however kindly notice the following: All image usage must be approved by UEFA Images must be made neutral (i.e. no stadium, team or player recognition) Images must feature a minimum of four (4) players (unless the players on the shot are models) Images must be from a UCL match (unless it is a model image) The images on MAP are rights cleared, adhere to the above guidelines and can be used without any amendments UCL Imagery Guidelines

30 Champions League Trophy Imagery of the UCL Trophy is available for usage in promotions/programs, subject to the following guidelines: Usage always remains something special and occasional Usage must be directly linked to football Usage may only be in combination with the UCL logo or the UCL Final logo When the Trophy is shown, the legal notice © 1996 UEFA TM must appear at all times, bottom right below the Trophy Minimal size of the legal notice is 30mm, 15mm for small version of the Trophy, 5 mm for extra small version of the Trophy in 4 colors The Trophy may only be displayed without borders An exclusion area applies around the Trophy – the size of the exclusion is approximately equal to the width of the Trophys base UEFA Official Artwork

31 Football Images The Official or the Replica UCL Football may be used in promotions/programs as imagery and/or prizes subject to the following guidelines: Adidas is the official football supplier to the UCL Only Adidas footballs may be used in the promotion/program (no competitive branding or recognizable brands) Usage of a football with UCL and MasterCard logo must be approved by Adidas When mentioning the replica of the UCL football in the program/promotion it MUST be referred to as one of the following: UEFA Official Artwork Official Matchball Replica Official Match Replica UEFA Champions League Replica Ball UEFA Champions League Ball When mentioning the official UCL football in the program/promotions, it MUST be referred to as one of the following: Official Matchball of the UEFA Champions League UEFA Champions League Official Matchball
