3 Offensive Line Alignment The Offensive Line Alignment: The Depth of the offensive line is set from the circle of the ankle of the center. The Guards will align in a three point stance. Tackles will align in a two point stance. Problems: Close your splits. The Splits: Center to Guard Two Feet Guard to Tackle Two Feet

4 Offensive Backfield Alignment The Offensive Alignment: The Quarterbacks Alignment: The toes of the QB are five yards from the front tip of the ball directly behind the center. The Tailbacks Alignment The toes of the TB are six yards from the front tip of the ball thatching the outside leg of the guard. The Alignment: QB - Toes Five yards from the front tip of the ball. TB - Toes Six yards from the front tip of the ball thatching the outside leg of the guard.

5 Receiver Alignment Charts Ball on the hash. ( Alignment relate to the opposite hash) Ball in the middle of the field. ( Alignment relate to the numbers) NormalHash plus 2 yards.Middle of the numbers. TightHash.Top of the numbers. LooseHash plus 4 yards.Base of the numbers. 6 Motion Jet Motion: Using a fast slide technique the TB will motion from one side of the formation to the other. Orbit Motions: Leave as late and fast as possible Using a 3 x 3 technique (three flat and three up and shuffle to alignment)motion back to the TB alignment with shoulders square. Zack - Z motions back. Hack - H motions back. Tack - T motions back.

7 Stemming Stemming is moving from one formation and resetting to another. The possibilities are endless. Stem with a purpose. Boogie - Start in Bunch move to formation called. Boom - Trading a bunch from one side to another. Stem - I move to formation called.

11 10, 11 QB QB Trap Assignment PositionAssignment X Stalk Block - If you are on the dive side use inside leverage. If you you are on the read side use outside leverage. Y Z H T Open and pause, crossover and fake 12 or 13. Responsible for the QB/Tailback mesh. QB Create the mesh with a short jab step with the foot opposite the TB and a drop step of the near foot. Flash fake 12 or 13 and attack Down the midline and snug the power walls.

14 14, 15 Dart Offensive Line Rules PositionAssignment Right TackleInside Pop step and fan block #2. Right GuardOn, Gap, Lead to the backside LB. CenterGap, Post to the backside backer. Left GuardReach, On, Down. Do not let B gap player cross your face. Left TacklePull and lead on the front side backer. Tight EndFront side - Inside Pop step Fan block #2. Backside - Zone block C gap. Coaching Points: #1 Stay on combination block as long as possible. The counter fake will slow down the backside backer. #2 Use Pop step on the play side. Pick up spark games. #3 Plays side tackle - Collect the tackle if crosses your face and gap block. Collect B gap blitz if he is at heals depth. #4 Backside tackle must eye the tail of the tackle. If you see it - Isolate the LB. If turns away prepare to trap.

Give the ball and counter at the outside shoulder of the support player.

Y Z Use Zack motion and run pitch path. 5 yards on a 45 degree angle. H Assume FB role in power - Log 1st man on or outside the tackle. T Drop step with play side foot. Arc course and mesh with the QB. Hug the double team. QB Catch the snap and open and point foot and sideline. Balance on step number two. Keep and run keep path.
