Our personnel will meet and greet you at the airport. Transfer to the river dock where you will begin the trip to our lodge. Along the way you will briefly sightsee Iquitos, looking at the most important tourist sites of this representative Perus orient city founded in the XIX Century. Navigate on the greatest world river, the Amazon, aboard comfortable and safe motorboats. The trip will allow you to see a marvelous panorama in which the magnificence of the Amazon makes its way through the exuberance of the jungle, where picturesque villages with their particular color and joy appear on the shores of the river. Arrival in the Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge. Our lodge built in the native-style is surrounded by trees, plants and flowers, a true tropical garden where birds and butterflies are abundant. Our staff will serve you with a refreshing welcome drink made with an exotic fruit, while your expert naturalist guide explains about the lodge facilities - including ramps for easy access- and the activities to come. Then you will be escorted to your room with private bathroom suit to provide you comfort and safety. Lunch. DAY 01 IQUITOS / AMAZONAS SINCHICUY LODGE
ECOCULTURAL PROGRAMME At indicated time, evening canoe ride or stroll along the trail to sense the jungle after dark. Return to the lodge. Supper. After enjoying a delightful meal, the guide will amuse you with tales and legends from the rich Amazon myths. Also, if you desire, our personnel will share with you a time for music and singing. DAY 02 AMAZONAS SINCHICUY LODGE / IQUITOS Early morning dolphin spotting on the Amazon and birdwatching. Return to the lodge. Breakfast. Tour the Santa María del Ojeal farmlands where you will see the artisanal sugar cane squeeze. You will also visit a fishfarm to observe native ictiological species and walk around a typical village on the shores of the Amazon. Lunch at the lodge. Return to Iquitos. Transfer to your hotel in the city. Overnight

Loreto is the largest yet least populated department in Peru. It is covered by dense vegetation and by primary and secondary jungle with low hills and slightly rolling landscape, crisscrossed by the many rivers of the Amazon River basin, which is born at the confluence of the Marañon and Ucayali Rivers. Iquitos, the capital of Loreto, is the main port city on the Amazon River and the largest city in the Peruvian jungle. ALTITUDE Capital: Iquitos (104 masl / 341 fasl). Lowest point: 70 masl / 230 fasl (Amelia). Highest point: 220 masl / 722 fasl (Balsapuerto). CLIMATE The weather in Iquitos is hot and rainy all year long. The average annual maximum temperature is 31ºC (88ºF) and the minimum is 21ºC (70ºF). The dry season (July – November) and the flood season (December – July) feature particular differences in the plant and animal life as well as in the climate ACCESS ROUTES By land:There is no overland access to Iquitos. By air: Regular flights to Iquitos from Lima (1 hour and 30 minutes), Tarapoto (50 minutes)
