International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide 3 - RADview-EMS is a unified carrier-class management platform for RAD devices and its subsidiary companies using a variety of access channels as SNMPv1/3, HTTP/S, TFTP and Telnet/SSH. In addition, it features third-party device monitoring capabilities

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide 4 - RADview-EMS Benefits & Features Turnkey system including hardware and software! Fully compliant with TMN standards Client/server architecture with multi-user support Interoperable with third-party NMS and leading OSS systems IBM Tivolis Netcool®/OMNIbus plug-in Minimize integrations costs associated with new NE additions Benefits Ensures device health and congestion control Topology maps and network inventory Advanced FCAPS functionality Software & configuration management - CMDB Business continuity - High-Availability and Disaster Recovery Handover between operators Key features

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide 5 - Turnkey System – Plug & Play Based on Dell PowerEdge R610 systems Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 and 5600 series Reliable Dell hardware Customized for Entry/Medium/High level Windows Server®2008SP2, installed Latest releases of RADview-EMS and Oracle, installed 39 Months HW world wide warranty, NBD/RADcare Plug & Play RADview-Server, windows based system

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide 7 - RADview-EMS Configuration Provides Configuration change management per device –Tracking configuration changes –Tracking software update Browse and edit CLI configuration Define Network/Device configuration baseline for easier rollback Compare Startup-config vs. running-config Table view of network elements enable sorting and filtering

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide 8 - RADview-EMS Jobs Automation of network operations –Configuration backup –Software backup –Push CLI configuration updates Management of mass configuration changes Task Scheduler Reports and notification of jobs status A TFTP server is required

RADview Update Dec 2010 Slide 9 - Supporting 3 rd Party equipment 24/7 Connectivity Status Alerts Displaying Generic Traps GUI Cut Through to the devices Web Management Supporting CLI over Telnet/SSH Manual discovery of NEs (Network Equipment) Inventory management for NEs supporting RFC-4133 (Entity MIB)

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide RADview-EMS advanced FCAPS Detects and isolates faults in network devices, initiates remedial actions and distributes alarm messages to other management entities in the network. Fault management Enables operators to configure, install and distribute software to all devices across the network. In addition, the system tracks version changes and maintains software configuration history Configuration management Manages individual and group user accounts and passwords, generating network usage reports to monitor user activities. Accounting management Supports real-time monitoring of QoS and CoS, producing real-time and periodic statistics. The statistics collector compresses data to minimize bandwidth use for management traffic and exports CSV files to OSS or third-party management systems Performance management Allows network administrators to track user activities and control the access to network resources with a choice of security features Security management

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide RADview-EMS FCAPS Manage Event Log parameters Manage the way Events are displayed in the Event Browser Manage system response upon occurrence of specific Events. Trap Synchronization upon connection failure between RADview-EMS to NE (*supported devices only) Modify – Mask, Severity, Duplication, Forwarding, Threshold, Clearing, Formatting Manage Event Log parameters Manage the way Events are displayed in the Event Browser Manage system response upon occurrence of specific Events. 14 International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide RADview-EMS FCAPS Real Time Performance Monitoring Monitors network performance (QoS, CoS) Current statistics (Real-time) Intervals statistics Reflects Agent statistics Long Term Performance Monitoring (*supported devices only) Performance Management Portal Real Time Performance Monitoring Monitors network performance (QoS, CoS) Current statistics (Real-time) Intervals statistics Reflects Agent statistics Long Term Performance Monitoring (*supported devices only) Performance Management Portal Performance ConfigurationAdministrationFaultSecurity Statistics

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide Performance Management portal RADview-PM portal Collects, stores and presents KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) from RAD devices, fast and efficient! Accelerates the processing of new report definition Immediate detection of service degradation allows service providers to take remedial actions to quickly restore appropriate performance levels Easily evaluate actual performance over time and compare it to SLA guarantees based on Y.1731 –Two-way Frame delay (ms) - Latency –Two-way Frame delay variation (ms) - Jitter –Packet Delivery (%) - (100% - Frame Loss ratio ) –Availability (%) Additional Y.1731 KPIs reports are available

XXX 2010 Slide Frame delay, Frame delay variation Two-way Frame delay (ms) – Latency –Network Latency is the roundtrip time it takes for a packet to travel end-to-end between two customer sites –Network Latency is measured in milliseconds and usually averaged on a monthly basis Frame Delay Variation (ms) - Jitter –Jitter measures the average latency from packet-to-packet –Jitter is measured roundtrip in milliseconds and usually averaged on a monthly basis Frame Delay (ms) - Latency Frame Delay Variation (ms) - Jitter

XXX 2010 Slide Packet Delivery/Frame Loss Packet Delivery (%) - (100% - Frame Loss ratio ) –Packet Delivery is the percentage of packets delivered during transmission between two customer sites –Packet Delivery is expressed as a ratio of delivered packets to total packets passed and usually averaged on a monthly basis Packet Delivery (%)

XXX 2010 Slide Availability Availability (%) –Availability is the ability to transmit data over the Ethernet network –Availability is calculated by dividing the average number of minutes that the Services are available by the total number of minutes in each calendar month and multiplying by 100 Availability (%)

XXX 2010 Slide Collection and Scalability RADview-Collector* initiates an SNMP command to the NTUs to push the performance counter data every round hour or 15 minutes via TFTP The collector is responsible for the retrieval of lost data resulting from connection failure upon re-establishing the connection up to 24 hours back Performance counters are being compressed to minimize management traffic over the network Date is stored in an Oracle database and later on can be exported to CSV ASCII files or by API for OSS post processing systems Can manage up to 1000 nodes per server** RADview-Collector

International Technical Seminar May 2011 Slide RADview-EMS FCAPS View and manage EMS Security profiles in a graphical interface Create and edit security profiles Create Common/Private view profiles per user/group Collects accounting data and generates network usage reports Define password policies View and manage EMS Security profiles in a graphical interface Create and edit security profiles Create Common/Private view profiles per user/group Collects accounting data and generates network usage reports Define password policies Security ConfigurationAdministrationPerformanceFault Security profiles Password policy
