Idleb has become a focus for tourist attraction: In comparison with other Syrian governorates Idleb governorate is considered the richest governorate in archeological sites that belong to consecutive historical areas. These ruins comprise a third of Syrian ruins of these we mention: forgotten cities, ancient hills, worship places, bath rooms, inns … etc ….It is the northern gate of Syria to Turkey, and the ruins make tourists move from one place to another as if they were in an open museum.
Varity and Crucial archeological richness: Most of the archeological sites in Idleb and the north of Syria are desolate ruins, most of the buildings are demolished while some are still coherent, which indicates the extent of engineering development dating back to Byzantine and Roman eras, from the 2 nd to the 6 th century AD.
There are also other archeological groups in the mountains of Al-A la, Barisha, Al-Husen and Sam' an, where there are the ruins of Bshendlaia, Bohio, Qalb losa. As for the civilization of embedded archeological kingdoms it has become of great significance after the discovery of much of those ruins. Ebla Kingdome in Tal-Mardikh is considered the most important ruins in the governorate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idli b_Governorate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idli b_Governorate
