In pleural effusion during 0.5 hour and 3 hours after the beginning of injection, the concentration of Flomoxef sodium increased more in patients who underwent lobectomy (O,*p < 0.05) than in patients who underwent pneumonectomy (•). However, there was no difference between the concentration of Flomoxef sodium in patients who underwent lobectomy and that in patients who underwent pneumonectomy (■).
