World of Work Theme Theme work S3 Themed Fortnight 26 th November – 7 th December 2012
Themed fortnight The story so far….. PE - Physical Challenges Drama – Tableaux English – Balloon debate Tree of Knowledge Theme work
Tree of Knowledge…….Some feedback: The talk at the end about success has really made me think differently about my future in a good way. I also enjoyed myself a lot. It was good fun. It was a great experience and made me think about how to get to where I want to get to when I'm older. The challenges were fun.
Theme work Good and interesting. I learned to keep my mind open. It made me think about my attitude towards something and how I can change it. I learned a lot about mind set.
Subject Fair - Aims To allow you to speak with members of staff about the new courses that will be on offer in your fourth and fifth years. To get you thinking about which courses you might like to take in your fourth and fifth years. To give you the chance to speak with local colleges and training providers about some options for when you leave Madras.
Preparation Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? If you have a clear ambition in mind, which subjects will help you get there? Its important to study what you enjoy. Which are your favourite subjects? In the box below write down any questions you would like to ask at the subject fair.
