2 – It tests the same things taught every day in high school classrooms: reading, writing and math. – SAT questions represent high school curricula, testing skills in geometry, algebra, grammar and critical reading. – Teachers and educators review every SAT question for relevance and coherence. – The critical thinking skills that the SAT tests are 21st-century skills that will help you succeed in college. What the SAT ® Measures The SAT measures what students know and how well they apply that knowledge.

3 – Three sections: critical reading, mathematics and writing – Length: 3 hours, 45 minutes (including three breaks) – Score range: 200–800 per section, 600–2400 overall – Question types: Critical Reading Sentence Completions, Reading Passages Mathematics Number and Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability Writing Essay, Identifying Errors, Improving Grammar and Usage Test Details
