400 Watts Metal Halide (455 Watts with ballasts) Pendant mount 16 from the floor Six 4, T8 lamps per fixture: 224 Watts (with ballasts) Mounted on the I -beams 22 from floor Direct Mail & Merchandise Co.
One for One replacement Same grid Replaced a total of 190 (455 Watts) fixtures with a total of 190 (224 Watts) fixtures: Was burning 86,450 Watts Is burning 42,560 Watts Savings: +50% Payback: 14 months with about 30% more light!
Better lighting at less than ½ the Watts! The shadowing effect from the high intensity discharge lighting system disappears after installing fluorescent fixtures Increases safety!
Mix of 455 Watts (w/ballasts) Metal Halide and HPS fixtures ---- Warehouse ---- What does yours look like? Replaced with high lumen, 4-T8 lamps, 4 lamps in-line, 16 fixture @ 156 Watts MORE LIGHT with 75% electricity savings!

Fixtures used are designed to light 9.5 wide at 28 mounting height A perfect lighting system for a Warehouse These 8 fixtures are coupled together to provide a perfect straight line. In this case, 112 long
Occupancy sensors installed on the ends of each aisle provide additional energy savings and increase security.
Retail Merchandise Mail Order Company From: 400 Watt Metal Halide To: 6 lamp, T8, 8 fixtures, 224 Watts Energy Savings: 50% Payback: 10 months
One for one replacement using the same grid Metal Halide fixtures create poor light distribution Notice the reflections off the bags
Notice the real color of the wall using 5000K lamps Previous T12 lamps distorts color rendition Wood working shop specializing in showcase cabinetry

Corrugated Box Manufacturing Building (just before moving in) 455 watt ( with ballast) metal halide fixtures Each fixture has one lamp to fire the fixture 224 Watt ( with ballast) high intensity fluorescent fixtures Each fixture has six, T8, 4, daylight lamps If one lamp prematurely burns out the other 5 stay on
460 Watt high pressure sodium fixtures Replaced with 6 lamp, T8, 224 watt, daylight lamps, 8 fixtures Lets get rid of the dreadful yellow color!
Manufacturer of metal laser cutting machines Was: 455 Watt (with ballast) metal halide Is: 224 Watt, (with ballast) 6 lamp, T8 high lumen fixtures Simple payback: <12 months
T12 fluorescents in this room (you can tell by the green tint) Metal halides in this room T8, daylight lamps provide the same color around the entire facility
One for One replacement Same Grid, 22 on center Replaced a total of 509 (455 Watts) fixtures with a total of 499 (224 Watts) fixtures: Was burning 231,595 Watts Is burning 111,776 Watts Savings = +52% with more light!
Beer Distributor From 400 Watt metal halide to 8, 6 lamp, T8 at half the watts per fixture
There are over 80 sensors turning these lights off when theres no activity near them for 20 minutes
The grid pattern remained the same. Each fixture was replaced 1:1 with a high efficiency fluorescent fixture Replaced a quantity of 82, 452 Watt, metal halide fixtures with a quantity of 82, 224 Watt high intensity fluorescent fixtures
The old fixtures had 1 lamp per fixture and were only 2 in diameter, similar to a flashlight beam shining to the floor ESG fixtures have 6 T8 lamps per 8 long fixture and have a 13 wide reflector. Each fixture feeds the adjacent fixture decreasing shadows between fixtures. There is a 50% increase in lumens between fixtures versus metal halide fixtures
