3 MSFD provisions for reporting
Reporting by MS to the Commission for a number of Articles, e.g.: Art transposition Art. 7 – competent authorities Art. 8 – initial assessment MS are required to make public: Summary information relating to the IA, GES, targets, monitoring and measures (Art. 19.2) Report on network of MPAs and where management action at Community/international level is needed (Art 13.6) Access to data and information by MS (Art 19.3) Provide the Commission with access and use rights in respect of data and information resulting from the initial assessments and from the monitoring programmes Within six months to the EEA INSPIRE compliant Technical formats for reporting (Art. 24.2) Technical formats may be adopted for the purposes of transmission and processing of data, including statistical and cartographic data.
