Despite our traditional ethos, were looking for better ways to protect the customer experience. A powerful computer based system allows us to be more flexible and more customer orientated. The restaurant used to struggle to handle bookings more than six weeks in advance now we can comfortably take bookings a year or more in the future. 9 Simply select the date, the session and the number of covers for the booking.

10 Available times appear in black. If preference is not available, add them to the wait list.

11 Input customer details - you specify the booking criteria. When criteria are met, simply click on OK to make the reservation.

12 You define how many covers per timeslot. Easy to see the total covers for each session.

14 You can search for customers who have visited before.

15 Just select the customer you are looking for.

16 Customer details are retrieved from the database automatically. Add more details to increase customer knowledge base.

17 Once details are entered they remain in the database - meaning you only have to ask the customer once.

18 Add as many details as you deem necessary. The system can automatically send the correspondence you require.

19 Special instructions can be added to the booking. Historical data stays with the customer.

20 Full audit trail of each booking. Details of all correspondence sent to the customer.

21 When all details are filled in Click OK to make the booking.

22 eRes works out the best way to fully occupy your restaurant. You decide which tables get seated first. Configure default times for multiple seatings.

23 Join tables together for greater flexibility. Decide how many tables of each size per timeslot.

24 By clicking on the Timeslot you can view your bookings.

25 From here we can easily see who is booked. You can also amend any details to do with the reservation.

26 There are two ways to check-in your customers.

27 You can use the live check-in mode. Select the customer and click on Seat.

28 Your floor plan appears and suggests an appropriate table.

29 Floor plan automatically updates with status of table. Or choose another table if you prefer.

30 Or you can use paper reports for customer check-in.

31 You can get a general overview of you bookings for the day, so you can see who is due to arrive in any timeslot.

32 You can also amend bookings in this screen, as well.

33 You can close a session from bookings or for private function.

34 eRes also comes with a full suite of Crystal reports.

37 eRes is single or multi-location capable, with user friendly displays.

38 Remember eRes is fully web enabled, meaning bookings through your web site are real-time. The web site looks directly at your database. No need to hold tables in case a web booking is made.
