2 HISTORY-CATHEDRAL CAMPUS Dedication of the New Cathedral September 25, 1990 – 25 th Anniversary 2015 Resolution to purchase the high school from the sisters on September 20, 1985 Site chosen for school, heating plant, and available land School built 1962 - We have operated the school building for more than half its life Kitchen and bathrooms remodeled

3 THE GOOD NEWS Balanced budget Buildings are structurally sound 25 years since last capital campaign Sunday Giving - Consistent parish financial support for individual projects Impact of estate planning Good people of faith

4 THE CHALLENGES Heating plant will be decommissioned September 2015 25 years since last capital campaign Remaining debt Operating budget has only afforded operating costs and general maintenance The current needs appear greater than any one individual gift and this is the reason for our capital campaign It will take the efforts of the whole parish community to maintain our campus for this and future generations

5 CAMPAIGN TIMELINE July 2013 we learned that the sisters would cease operating the heating plant September 2015 Listening sessions held in November & December First building committee meeting January Estimates received from Kraus-Anderson in March Projects reviewed and prioritized by Administrative and Building committees 10 information sessions in March & April Capital campaign begins April 26 th /27 th
