Joint Readiness Training Center & Fort Polk Commercial Activities Study Background: Purpose is to implement the most efficient support organization at Fort Polk through competition between the in-house workforce and external contractors Federal and Army regulations / policies require the Army to evaluate and potentially outsource certain support functions The Fort Polk study began in 1998 Reduction in force regardless of decision Employees adversely affected will be offered placement assistance
