Retrofitable Can fit in almost any building Most require minor modifications – Remove drywall drop ceiling – Relocate sprinkler pipe Some more major – Remove block wall – Remove poured concrete wall

Space requirements Ideally 110 floor to ceiling height Can go as low as 92 Horizontal measurements vary, for example – Centre or End feed, bins side by side – Corner feed, bins in L-pattern Can reuse existing bins or new bins may be required

Example 1 – pre-installation

Example 1 – post-installation

Example 2 – End Feed

Example 3 – pre-installation

Example 3 – during installation

Example 3 – post-installation

Example 4 – Centre Feed

Example 5 – Corner Feed

Example 5 – with organic bin

Example 5 – with all bins

Cost Installation can range from $15K to over $30K The more floors, the higher the cost Plus new bins if needed Work by others - additional costs outside our scope – 110V disconnect, relocate pipes, walls, etc... Maintenance

Benefit Decreased waste hauling costs - The best retrofits set out one 3-yard garbage bin and two to three recycling bins per 100 units each week Reduced depreciation of common areas Increased curb appeal – Eliminate unsightly bins, odours Attract/retain environmentally friendly tenants Warm fuzzy feeling

Green Bin Program Alternate option to TriSorter: 1. Residents dispose organics into bin located in common area 2. Residents dispose organics through door installed in block wall, with bin on other side

1. Steel FEL bin or cart

2. Recycling room before install

Recycling room with green bin door
