6Washington State Patrol Office of the State Fire Marshal What is State Mobilization?State mobilization is a process used to quickly notify, assemble and deploy fire service personnel and equipment to any local fire jurisdiction in the state that has expended, or will expend, all available local and mutual aid resources in attempting to manage fires, disasters and other all-hazard events that threaten a community.
7Washington State Patrol Office of the State Fire Marshal State Mobilization Plan HistoryThe State Mobilization Plan was directed to be formed by the Washington State Legislature in the wake of the 1991 Spokane Fire Storm.The Plan was developed by the State Fire Defense Committee and was officially adopted in 1994.
