Mission THE MISSION OF THE WCSD IS TO EMPOWER ALL OF OUR STUDENTS WITH THE COMPETENCIES AND CONFIDENCE TO CHALLENGE THEMSELVES, TO PURSUE THEIR PASSIONS, AND TO REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL WHILE GROWING AS RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY.
Strategic Objectives By 2019, all of our students will continually identify and develop their strengths and attributes necessary to reach their evolving goals. By 2019, all of our students will choose increasingly challenging goals, make a plan to reach those goals, execute the plan and share the results. By 2019,all of our students will continuously explore possibilities in order to identify and pursue their passions.
Strategies We will assure that all current and future employees understand and commit to our core values and willingly contribute to achieving our strategic objectives and mission.
We will create replicable prototype programs that ensure that students will meet district curricular standards while engaging in the individual learning experiences that are part of our strategic objectives
We will consistently develop collaborative leaders at all levels including the Board of Education, administration, and staff whose skills and commitments are essential to our core values and mission.
We will align the talents and resourcefulness of all our current and future employees to support our strategic objectives.
We will collaborate with our community to foster relationships that will help us achieve our strategic objectives and mission.
Strategic Delimiters We will not adopt any new program or service unless it is: Aligned with and contributes to our mission Accompanied by the resources needed for its effective implementation Accompanied by a plan to assess its ongoing effectiveness
