2. Figure 1-OTP
An oligo (Red) is selected from a comprehensive oligo array to anneal to the 3‘ of the growing chain (Green) such that the oligo's 5‘end protrudes and serves as a template for subsequent elongation. Denaturation then allows for a new cycle to begin.
