Member States are invited to present the current situation in their country, plans, issues of preoccupation, obstacles (response rate) and data needs related to NTS.
Member States may reflect on the option of developing a limited common component in NTS.
Possible next steps:
To set-up a Task Force
Taking into account all existing work to identify a limited set of common indicators for which data from NTS are required
Develop some common methodological definitions that will ensure some degree of harmonisation of NTS
Produce a Manual/Guidelines for Passenger Mobility Statistics
Foresee grants for pilot surveys
Need for volunteers
