Table surface is called the playfield. The playing area is rectangular 2.74 m long, widespread m and must be level of 76 cm above the floor. The playing area includes the upper edge of the table, but not the side walls below these edges. The playing surface may be of any material and must all be equally flexible so that the standard free-run ball from a height of 30 cm rebounded to about 23 cm. The playing area must have a uniform dark color and not shiny. It is bounded by broad white lateral lines 2 cm long and 2.74 m and white final wide 2 cm long and m.
The playing area is divided into two halves the vertical mesh stretched parallel to the final. Continuously distributed area mesh table. For doubles, each of the two half board divided by the line parallel to the lateral lines for two quarters. This line is white, 3 mm wide and is called the center line. The center line is considered part of the right fourth board on the side of making the fourth player and the right side of the board of the receiving player.
Net is composed of their own nets, twine, which is suspended from a stands, including equipment that is affixed to a mesh table. Net is taut twine on vertical stands cm high, pillars stands are located cm from the side lines table. The upper edge of the mesh along the entire length cm high above the playing surface. The lower edge of the mesh along the entire length as close to the board, end-nets which are closely connected to the stand.
The ball is round and has a diameter of 40 mm. Prescribed weight ball is 2.7 g. The ball is made of celluloid or similar plastic, is white or orange and glazed.
Racket may be of any size, shape and weight. The blade must be flat and rigid. At least 85% of the thickness of the blade must be of natural wood. Layer glued inside the blade may be reinforced with various fiber-reinforced material, for example carbon fiber (carbon fiber), glass fibers (glass fiber), or compressed paper (compressed paper), may be thicker than 7.5% of the total thickness of the blade, but not more than 0.35 mm. Page rackets, used to play, must be covered with either ordinary rubber serrated with indentations on top and a total thickness including adhesive coating than 2 mm, or a sandwich with indentations in or out of a total thickness of the coating up to 4 mm.
Ordinary milled rubber is a single layer no sponge rubber, natural or synthetic, to which the indentations are evenly distributed across the surface so that the 1 cm2, at least 10 and not more than 30 rivets. Sandwich is a layer of sponge rubber covered with a single outer layer of wheat notched rubber. Notched rubber layer may be thicker than 2 mm. The cover material must cover the entire surface missiles to the border, but not beyond those margins. The only exception is that part of the racket at the handle on which are put in play with your fingers, can be left uncovered or can be covered with any material. Missile base, any layer glued inside the blade and any layer or adhesive coating on the rocket used to play must be continuous and must have the same thickness.
The surface coating on the surface of the rocket or the rackets, which is without the coating must be non-glossy, bright red on one side and black on the other rackets. The coating must be applied without any physical, chemical, or other arrangements. Small deviations from homogeneity of the surface or color uniformity due to accidental damage, wear or fading, may be permitted provided they do not substantially alter the nature of the surface. The player is obliged to provide the missile with which it wants to play, opponent and the referee for examination and the start of the match and during the match, whenever changing racket.
In making the singles made the submission, receiving it back and then making the ball alternately receiving and returning. In doubles, the server makes administration, receiving it back, then making the return ball teammate, then teammate receiving, and then turn each player respectively. If two players, who, by reason of physical disability in a wheelchair, making the doubles play makes filing, receiving it back, but can then return the ball by any player hit a pair. In doing so throughout the exchange of players, no truck with its part to eject the imaginary extension of the midline of the table to team-mate sweetheart. If this happens the referee ends the exchange point of award of a pair of opponents.
