2 ABOUT WELSH SPORTERS CLUB Rewarding staff & providing valued customer incentives or loyalty schemes can be extremely expensive and time-consuming, making them prohibitive to many small and medium-sized organisations. The WSA's Welsh *Sport'ers Club enables organisations to have their very own staff benefits and customer rewards programmes for as little as £ It can save staff or customers £1,000s on everyday goods and services, provide increased goodwill and loyalty for organisations, and raise money for junior sporting programmes in Wales. * Short for Sport Supporters

3 WHO ARE THE WSA The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is the umbrella for all of the national governing bodies of sport and physical recreation in Wales. The WSA Commercial Unit is charged with supporting its governing body partners to generate income for sports-led programmes.

4 HOW THE SPORTERS CLUB WORKS Load a CD-ROM that provides a simple, 15-minute process to building a personalised web portal (see following pages). Promote the scheme to staff and customers using letters and posters provided on the CD-ROM. Staff and customer use your new webpage to purchase goods and services, such as DVD, electrical goods, bikes, gifts and holidays, at discounts of up to 60%. Users can also buy via telephone. New offers and discounts are regularly ed to registered users, who are also entered into prize draws to win exclusive sports and leisure related prizes. NB. Offers can be added or removed as requested by each company.

16 MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE 100% of the profits (from CD-ROM sales and a small commission on items purchased) made from the Welsh Sport'ers Club will be invested into funding junior participation and development programmes for 14 key Welsh sports; athletics, badminton, canoeing, cricket, cycling, disability sports, golf, gymnastics, hockey, netball, sailing, squash, swimming, and tennis.
