Deliver your speech with confidence and authenticity. PATHOS--Emotional Appeal: Appeal to their emotions: compassion, fear, guilt. Think advertising! Use personal testimony! Choose powerful, appealing diction! LOGOS--Rational Appeal: Provide good reasons. Use logic and evidence. Support material! Clarification! Reinforcement! Statistics!
