ERS in Sweden In Sweden a service oriented architecture (SOA) is chosen A client on the fishing vessel sends logbook data through satellite or internet. There is a service bus that validates the data and routes accordingly. Web-services then receives the reports and stores the data in the database. There has been a lot of work interpreting the regulations and implementing them in this architecture.
