CFED is an organization that provides a comprehensive look at wealth, poverty and the financial security of families in each state. It produces a scorecard on each states financial health each year.

Knowing how states are doing financially helps you know what state to encourage your difficult clients to consider moving to. It should not. Financial trends, policies and resources are not part of vocational rehabilitation. We are about employment. A B C Knowing the financial trends, policies and supports in your state can help you advise your clients in their career choices. Select the best answer

Bus ticket therapy is not part of vocational rehabilitation.

Funded by RSA Grant # H264A080021. © 2013 Incorrect… According to the Rehabilitation Act, Public Rehabilitations purpose is: to empower individuals with disabilities to maximize employment, economic self sufficiency, independence, and inclusion and integration into society,.. Thus a vocational counselor needs to understand the financial trends of the state and resources that could assist a client in achieving economic self-sufficiency.

CFED is a multi-faceted organization working at the local, state and federal levels to create economic opportunity that alleviates poverty.
