Figure 1 Number of SIRS criteria within 24 hours of presentation (in legend box) and corresponding rates of persistent organ failure, pancreatic necrosis, need for ICU, and mortality among the 252 patients. Patients with SIRS = 0 (n = 24) did not have any markers of severity.
