2 Needs Assessment: Bilingual students will engage in an opportunity to learn how to improve their English language by using the Elementary Advantage 2010. The gap is that a majority of bilingual students have difficulties to pass their class assignments, Benchmark and TAKS test. Prepare the bilingual students into group by grade level. The important of the bilingual students is to complete Phonics, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, Reading, and Writing. (lessons, exercises and quizzes) in order to reach the students full academic potential and prepare them for future assignments and tests.

3 Needs Assessment Cont… Students will create their own username in the beginning of the year, grade are record that allows (teacher and parents) to check the status of the students. Finally, bilingual students will earn a Super Star Certificate of Achievement. All-purpose details, questions, and information will be create and circulate online in order to teach other on how to use the Elementary Advantage 2010.

4 Instructional Goal: The goals of using the Elementary Advantage 2010 software is to help bilingual students to improve their words pronunciation, reading, and writing skills. The bilingual students will gain more knowledge in passing work assignment, Benchmark, and TAKS test, so they can enter and succeed in mainstream classes.

5 Performance Objectives: Bilingual students will use Elementary Advantage 2010 to improve their English pronunciation, reading skills, and writing skills. Condition (CN): The conditions are to establish the skill level for each individual using the Elementary Advantage 2010 software. Behavior: After students go through the lecture, it will give an opportunity to learner the basic features and functions of how to understand the lesson, exercises, and quizzes the Elementary Advantage 2010 offers. Criteria: Soon after learning the lecture, the students should be able to accomplish at least 80% of the bilingual students will improved their academic potential.

6 Performance Objectives Cont… After completing the training by using Elementary Advantage 2010 (CN), the bilingual students will able to learn on how to long in, navigate through the Elementary Advantage 2010 program by analyzes, manage, and share information quickly and easily using the Elementary Advantage 2010 software(B) and locate specific modules and resources without any assistance and improving their grades and test with 80% of accuracy (CR).

7 Assessment of Learning Outcomes: Bilingual students will go through a process to enhance their English language. Performance ObjectiveAssessment 1. I will teach the Bilingual students on how to locate, open and created username in Elementary Advantage 2010 software. I will observe them opening Elementary Advantage 2010 software and creating their username information. 2. Learner will increase their knowledge in the ongoing assessment procedures by practicing and listen to the lesson, exercises, and quizzes. The learns will complete Phonics, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, Reading, and Writing in order to reach his or her full academic potential in improving their pronunciation, reading, and writing skills. 3. Learner will have full understanding of data collection, assessment, and procedures. Students grades will improve and be prepared to pass the Benchmark, TAKS test and so they can enter and succeed in mainstream classes.

8 Learner Characteristics: First Group A) Small group of 2 boys and girls students ages 6-7. 1. With few basic skills in computers training. 2. Bilingual students will accomplish the Phonics, Grammar, Vocabulary Spelling lessons, exercises, and quizzes. 3. By improving their pronunciation, reading and writing skills. Second Group B) Small group of 2 boys and girls students ages 8-10. 1. With equivalent skills in computer training. 2. Bilingual students will accomplish the Phonic, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, Reading and Writing lessons, exercises, and quizzes. 3. By improving their pronunciation, reading and writing skills.

9 Learning Context: Instructional environment is in a computer lab set up with 4 computers or laptops with the Elementary Advantage 2010 software already install in the computers or laptops. Computer or laptops must have internet access. Printers, headphone, pencil and paper are also set up and ready to perform last assessment task. Instructor has a whiteboard screen set up with a SoftChalk Lesson builder design manual, so learners can follow step by step instructions if needed.

18 Formative Evaluation: Evaluation will be in teaching the bilingual students to enhance their English language by offering the Elementary Advantage 2010 software. In which include lessons, activities, and quizzes about Phonic, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, Reading and Writing. This program will record and display bronze, silver and gold star which will evaluate the progress of the students. Finally, bilingual students will receive a Super Star Certificate of Achievement. The second level of evaluation will consist of meeting with the teachers of the bilingual students to check if their test grades improve as long with their pronunciation, reading, and writing skills.

19 Summary Overall bilingual students will practice the lessons, activities, quizzes using Phonic, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling, Reading and Writing to improve their English language. The overall target will be how much the bilingual students have improve their ability to pronounces, read and write the English words. As a result of, every bilingual students will pass their assignments, Benchmark, and TAKS test and can enter and succeed in mainstream classes.
