2 INDEX Part-ILAN settings to work on software at LAN from server. Part-IISurrender Software from one PC and Install on another. Case: (1) Your system is going to format. Case: (2) Block the software key on a system. e.g. Hard disc drive (HDD) crashed. Case: (3) You want to switch it on another Computer (or) PC (or) Laptop. Part-IIIChange of your Existing Registered ID with SAG Infotech to New ID.

3 Part-I How to do LAN(Local area Network) connection setting of a software ?

4 Preliminary Checks: Dos:Donts: Demo version of desired software must be installed on LAN PC. It will not run if you have not taken the Licensed key from us for main Server/PC. SAG Infotechs Folder must be shared in Server system. [C:>Program Files>SAG Infotech]

5 Run the software on LAN PC. Click on Settings button and please see the Next step very carefully..

6 Database:Select the Software name e.g. Genius Data Directory: Syntax:\\ \SAG Infotech\ In given example:\\D1P12\SAG Infotech\Genius Port (SAG service): 7070 and mark on Apply to All Server:IP Address of server (or) server computer name. Screen Resolution: Select : Default (1024) By (768) DPI (96) Mark :(Always Check for updates on Startup) Unmark Standalone: Unmark this option on LAN PC. These are the below mentioned settings: To be done as example given below to avoid the error at LAN. Note : How to make such changes is explained in next steps….

7 Click on Browse option of Data Directory, here we have to give path for LAN connectivity. Now select My Network Places and further select the desired PC/Server through which LAN is to be connected. Note: Standalone must be Unmarked from here.

8 Now Select the path as PC/Server > SAG Infotech folder. Here select the Software folder you desire to run on LAN and click OK Button. e.g. Genius

9 Note : In case of OS is Windows XP, Windows 7,Windows Vista etc. Select My Network Places > Entire Network > Microsoft windows Network > Select the Work Group > PC/Server > SAG Infotech. In above Illustration D1P12 is the Server from where LAN is connected.

10 This will get the Registration information from Main PC/server and share the software on LAN PC/Server You are Ready to Work!

11 Exceptions: (1) My SQL settings (2) Advance settings My SQL settings: This to be checked only if your computer has different version of database from MySQL 4.0 e.g. Any other Higher or lower version. Note: {Please Call us in such a case} Advance settings: {Please refer to Next slide}

12 ADVANCE SETTINGS (Password: SAG123) UMarked by default and should also be marked if Offline activation by Ukey token. AMarked by default and should also be marked if Offline activation byAlladin token. PProtocol must be marked by default. H1Must be marked by default. H2Must be marked by default. H3Must be marked by default. H4Unmark this option ONLY in following cases: (i) If window of software is not appearing and Logger file is not creating in [C:\\program files\SAG Infotech}. (ii) If Logger file is created with message: (Automation error in Module:1)

13 Part-II How can I surrender Software from One PC and install it on another? This could happen in following cases: Case:1) Your system is going to format. Case:2) Block the software key on a system. e.g. Hard disc drive (HDD) crashed. Case:3) You want to switch it on another computer/PC/Laptop. (Caution : In All above cases, One must have the backup of his data to restore )

14 Remember : To take Backup of your data. Go to Other Utilities then click on BacKup. This will start copying database and create a Zip folder at the given path.

15 Case: (1) Your system is going to format, before that do following steps: Step: (1) Surrender the License first. First click on On-Line Licensing and then on Surrender License. After that enter your Activation Code and click on Surrender.

16 This will check the License status with us online…. And gives you following message : Successfully Surrendered. Step: (1) continues……

17 Step: (2) Install the same software on desired PC, Please refer to our Installation Help by log on: > HELP > Installation. Step: (4) After Installation please register your software with the same old Key. Step: (5) Restore the Backup data by going to Other Utilities > Restore option. [same as taking Backup] Your software is ready to work as it was previously!

18 Case: (2) Block the software Key. e.g. Hard disc drive (HDD) crashed, etc. Step: (1) Must have the backup of the software. Step: (2) Kindly mail us on (or) Application for Blocking key [Check > HELP]www.saginfotech.com Step: (3) Install the same software,Please refer to our Installation Help by log on: > HELP> Installation. Step: (4) After Installation please register your software with the New Key issued. Step: (5) Restore the Backup data by going to Other Utilities > Restore option. [same as taking Backup] Your software is ready to work as it was previously!

19 Case: (3) You want to switch it on another computer/PC/Laptop. Step: (1) Must have the backup of the software. Step: (2) No need to or intimate us, you can surrender the Key from existing PC. Step: (3) Install the same software on desired PC, Please refer to our Installation Help by log on: > HELP > Installation.www.saginfotech.com Step: (4) After Installation please register your software with the New Key issued. Step: (5) Restore the Backup data by going to Other Utilities > Restore option. [same as taking Backup] Your software is ready to work as it was previously!

20 Part-III Question: How can I change my existing registered ID with SAG Infotech to my New ID? Answer: (i)If you can use your existing ID: Send us a mail on attached with scan copy of Application for change of Registered ID in writing to change it to your New (ii) If you are not able to use your ID: Send us a mail on attached with scan copy of Application for change of Registered ID in writing to change it to your New ID giving appropriate Note: For Application for change of Registered ID [Check > HELP]www.saginfotech.com
