Kings County Mobile & Remote Desktop Technology CWS afterhours workers currently use laptop with aircard for internet access Laptop devices uses Netmotion application to establish secured connection to the county CPS\APS\IHSS workers phone have recently been updated to an iPhone with county email access for effective communication when working offsite

Kings County Policies and Configurations for Surface Pro VPN access agreement need to be signed by user approved by Department head prior granting access User had options to use CWS web access using token or RDP to workstation to use CWS CMS application Hotspot device with secured connection setup provided with Surface Pro. It also allows multiple devices connected to the same wifi.
Surface Pro device is managed by County using GPOs and Scriptlogic Antivirus and Cisco Iron Port for Outlook installed on the device County credentials required to login (Surface Pro, VPN, RDP) CWS workstations are encrypted (McAfee Agent) Users are only allowed to RDP to their assigned workstation Kings County Policies and Configurations for Surface Pro
