MLA Bibliography Cards – Works Cited Presented by The Writing Center
The Importance of Bib Cards and Works Cited Page Writing a research paper requires that outside sources support the thesis. Bibliography Cards and the Works Cited page are a means for keeping track of and organizing the information.
What to record Name of the author(s) Title of the source (book, magazine, journal, etc.) City where the source was published Name of the publisher Year of publication Page numbers pertinent to the borrowed text Library call number (optional)
