Database... I typed in all of my field names and chose a suitable data type for each. For group I had to look up wizard and type in all the 2- lettered-codes so that could be the only option and I gave it 2 characters because thats all that was needed. For carbs and fat I had to change the field size to double because there were decimal places in the number, not just whole numbers.
I chose the apple and walnut yogurts recipe as one of my 3 records because I think its something new, healthy and quite interesting to try out. I got my research from the Tescos website because I thought that was a reliable source to use. This record is in the DY food group. http://www.tescorealfood.com/recipes/apple-and-walnut-yogurts.html
http://www.tescorealfood.com/recipes/beef-and- cucumber-salad-with-asian-dressing.html I chose Beef and cucumber salad recipe as my 2 nd record because I thought it was a very balanced course with the meat and vegetables (food groups= MT and VG) and It was very healthy and something new. I got my research from the Tescoes website.
http://www.tescorealfood. com/recipes/antipasti- platter-breadsticks.html I chose my 3 rd record to be Antipasti platter (breadsticks) because it was very healthy, well balanced and looked delicious. I thought that it would be something quite new for people to try. This course fits in the CG food group.
For the fish main meal course, I limited the fat to less than 5g fat and less than 120 calories to produced healthy and balanced suggestions for people to try out. I thought this was a suitable amount to limit it to in order to produce a healthy meal.
For meat main meal, I made sure the unit was in grams (g) to make it easier for people to use the suggestions to make a meal. I made the quantity 100 because I believe that is the right portion size for a healthy and well balanced meal.
