4 Example of feedback mechanism in animals. Temperature homeostasis:Your body gets hot, so we sweatYour body sweats, it evaporates and we cool back off.Heart rate homeostasis:You increase the rate of excerisceThen your heart rate increases to compensate for necessary oxygen levels and blood flow
5 Example of feedback mechanisms in plants: plants need to regulate water loss and carbon dioxide intake for photosynthesis and other life activities
6 Feedback in plantswhen plants do not keep enough water in their cells, they wilt and dieguard cells: open and close the stomatethe ability of the guard cell to close during periods of limited water availability for the plant allows the plant to maintain water homeostasis
