Fig 1 A total of 748 clinically suspicious lesions were evaluated on confocal microscopy. Of these, 629 had well-defined benign features on and did not require a biopsy. These were not included in our data analysis. The remaining 119 lesions had biopsy results available for comparison of histopathology diagnosis to the diagnosis given on confocal microscopy.
