3 Flexible DSSS Modulation on Physical Layer
May. 2009 Flexible DSSS Modulation on Physical Layer Suggest: one Flexible DSSS, adjustable spreading gain ranging from 0dB(min) to 30dB(max). Benefits: M-ary spread spectrum can save the spectrum efficiency if needed Varying spread gain can adapt to different situation There is no need to change signal spectum width when data rate changes, and the channel schedule is easy to plan Anti-multipath fading and less interference to narrow band system Compatable with current physical layer FX. 4 Flexible Frame Head and Payload Using Different PN Code
May. 2009 Flexible Frame Head and Payload Using Different PN Code The frame head uses the conventional PN code. The PN code used in frame head is suggested to be the same, in most cases, the larger spreading gain is used. The frame head carries the information of the PN code index of the following data, so that the send part can choose and decide the spreading method of the payload, without additional negotiation The payload can use the most suitable PN code, which is adjustable according to the scenario The receive part listens to the frame head firstly, and according to the index carried in the frame head, adjust to the required dedespreading method to receive and can measure the signal energy through the catch frame length FX.
