Childhood When Alexander was sixteen he taught music. When he was 24 he moved to Boston. At the time Boston was very busy with inventors, scientists, colleges and industry. He didnt have the middle name Graham until he was 11. His dad gave it to him as a birthday present from (he always wanted a middle name)
His family His father taught people how to speak correctly. His deaf mother worked as an artist. His brother died at the age of 25
Fact file Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3 rd, 1847 in Scotland. Alexander worked on telegraphs with his assistant who was a electrical designer named Thomas Watson. When he invented the telephone his first words spoken into in to the telephone to his assistant were Come here, I want to see you
His Inventions Alexander invented the telephone. After he improved the telephone over 150,000 people in the U.S owned telephones.
Education He didnt go to primary school instead his father homeschooled him. At an early age he was enrolled at the Royal high school, Edinburgh, Scotland. He left the Royal High School at the age of 15
