We also wanted to thank everyone for joining us at our Memorial Day Service this past May.
The instructors in your program are responsible to help you to take advantage of opportunities to develop to your fullest potential. You have the right to refuse to try new experiences, but it is still the job of staff to continue to encourage you to make an effort to learn for yourself what you like and don’t like. It is also the instructor’s responsibility to make sure that your rights are protected and that you are a respected member of society.
All persons can learn and have the right to learn. You have the right to grow and to change. From the time that you are born, and throughout adulthood, you have the right to learn and to try new things, visit new places and meet new people. As we increase our experiences, we learn, develop our interests and make our lives better and more satisfying. This is called personal growth.
