Fernway School Welcome to the Fernway Family –One of five K-4 Buildings: Boulevard, Fernway, Mercer, Lomond, Onaway –Built in 1927 –15 Classrooms, 3 per grade level –Over 350 students –37 staff members
The Mission of the Schools The District will nurture, educate, and graduate students who are civic-minded and prepared to make ethical decisions; who are confident, competent communicators, skillful in problem solving, capable of creative thinking; who have a career motivation and a knowledge of our global and multicultural society.

The Mission of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
