Examples of research challenges: Lean and ICT Managing complexity and uncertainty in production control

21 sfinorman.nosfinorman.no21 WP5: Ideal Factory Aim: to develop models for joint optimization of technologically advanced production systems, control systems and high performance collaborative work organizations, particularly in the areas of high tech, partly automated manufacturing and in the project-type production of the engineering industry Examples of research challenges: Develop principles for management tasks and improve the knowledge organization Increase use of technology through robust flow- oriented organization
