What we were looking for … - # of parts used and how each was used - Quality of writing: did the machine solve a problem, was it a new invention (abstract) or already exist? - attention in detail (in-depth, cause/effect, ect.) Discussion: - How did you approach the problem? - What was challenging? - What could you done to make it better? Next step: Did you try it with your child? How would your child approach this?
