Fig. 1 Growth hormone producing adenoma with concomitant RCC. Preoperative coronal T2-and T1-weighted images demonstrated intrasellar lesion attached to the left cavernous sinus, stretching the pituitary adenoma to the right side. The cystic lesion of RCC showed low-signal intensity on T2-weighted images (A), and iso-signal intensity on T1-weighted image (B). The mass lesion of growth hormone producing adenoma was homogeneous on coronal MR image (C), and RCC was obvious as nonenhancing cystic mass between the anterior and posterior lobe (D). Fig. 2 Prolactinoma with concomitant RCC. A coronal T2-and T1-weighted MR image showed a large intrasellar cystic mass with suprasellar extension with two different signal intensities. RCC showed high-signal intensity on T2-weighted images (A) and low-signal intensity on T1-weighted image (B). The prolactinoma displayed rim enhancement along the cyst wall of RCC on coronal (C) and sagittal (D) MR images following gadolinium injection.
