The Vehicle Production was launched In 1959, Based On The Licence Purchased From Mazda (JAPAN) Company With Light Duty Pick Up Products. The Company Continued Tts Activity With The Name Of Mazda Manufacturing Factory In 1971 With Mazda 1000 Pick Up Assembly. In Ihe Year 1979 And After Lslamic Revolutions IDRO (Industrial Development and Renovation Organization Affiliated To Ministry Of Industry) Bought More Than 50% Of Stocks.

4 The Company Name Was Changed To Iran Vanet Co
The Company Name Was Changed To Iran Vanet Co. In 1984 And Started To Assembly Mazda Pick Up B 1600 Single Cabin. During the Imposed War  ( ), Assembling Mazda Pick Up B 1800 Was Started. In 1990, Manufacturing Mazda 1000 Was Eliminated And All The Production Capacity Was Allocated For Manufacturing Mazda B 1600. Since 1990, Which Is Considered As The First Year Of Mass Privatization program, Totally 15 Billion Rials Shares Have Been Sold On Tehran Stock Exchange Or Through Direct Offering Of The Bona Fide Investors Or By Public Tenders. Assembling Mazda Passenger Car F-323 And Changing The Production Line Of Mazda Pick Up B1600 To Mazda Pick Up B 2000 Have Been The Last Program of This Company. Starting From 1998, The Company Continues Its Activity As A Holding Company With the Name Of Bahman Group.

13 Introduction IRAN CASTING INDUSTRIES (I.C.I) STARTED ITS PRODUCTION IN 1987 WITH MANUFACTURING OF AUTOMOTIVE IRON CASTING PARTS FOR DAIMLER CHRYSLER AND OTHER AUTO INDUSTRIES IN IRAN TO BE USED FOR TRUCKS, BUS AND MINI BUS . THE CAPACITY OF I.C.I IS TON PER YEAR AUTOMOTIVE & OTHER INDUSTRIAL IRON CASTINGS .

14 location IRAN CASTING INDUSTRIES IS SITUATED ON A 150,000 M2 LAND IN KAVEH INDUSTRIAL ZONE NEAR THE CITY OF SAVEH 120 KILOMETER SOUTH OF TEHRAN WHICH IS EASILY REACHED BY CAR VIA THE TEHRAN SAVEH EXPRESS - WAY IN ONE HOUR .

37 Furan Molding Line FOR MOULDING CYLINDER BLOCKS OR OTHER LARGE CASTINGS , WE USE AN AUTOMATIC FURAN LINE EQUIPPED WITH CONTINUOUS MIXERS , ROLL- OVER STRIPPING MACHINE AND ALSO CLOSING MACHINE. AUTOMATIC CRANE IS USED FOR POURING . FLASK SIZES ARE : - 1700X1100X450/350 mm  X1000X400/300 mm  PRODUCTION CAPACITY IS 15 MOULDS/HOUR THERE IS A SAND RECLAMATION PLANT FOR THIS MOULDING LINE, MAX CASTING WEIGHT IN THIS LINE IS APPROX. 486 KG

MELTING AND HOLDING FURNACES ARE : - 3 UNITS INDUCTION FURNACES, EACH 12 TON CAPACITY FOR MELTING . - 1 UNIT MEDIUM FREQUENCY 2 TON FURNACE FOR MELTING UNITS HOLDING FURNACES , EACH 36 TON CAPACITY . THERE IS AN OVERHEAD MONORAIL SYSTEM FOR LIQUID IRON TRANSPORTATION .

THERE IS AUTOMATIC CORE SAND PREPARATION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM TO FEED THE CORE SHOOTING MACHINES. THERE ARE ALSO CORE PAINTING FACILITIES AND FIVE CORE DRYING OVENS TO DRY THE CORES AFTER COATING. 1-Type 601: Core box dimensions : 1400*800*400 mm Shooting capacity : 110 lit 2-Type 602: Core box dimensions : 1500*1000*500 mm 3-Type 604: Core box dimensions : 600*500*300 mm Shooting capacity : 25 lit 4-Type 605: Core box dimensions : 500*300*150 mm Shooting capacity : 16 lit Min & Max core weight 24 g & 37 kg

The Core Assembly Seetion , is Equipped With 4 Drying Furnaces for Drying the Point of Cores and All the Necessary Equipment for Fettling , Cleaning , Adhesion, Assembling and Final Control of Cores.

44 Fettling Plants Fettling and Cleaning Section is Equipped with Monorail Shot Blast Machine , Batch- Barrel Shot Blast Machine and of Line for Small Parts , Which are Able to Clean Different Parts With Different Size . In Addition Other Machine like Manipulators , Hand Tools and Grinding Machines(Diskus) are Available.

45 Product Control Department
This Section is Equipped With Hardness Measuring Devices for Determining the Hardness of Products , Spotting Machines for Machining of Reference Points. Of Cylinder and Heed Cylinders and Other Parts , Leakage Testing Machines (Leak- Test) and Fixtures for Dimensional Controls.

46 Laboratories IN MOULDING AND CORE MAKING .
THE FOLLOWING FACILITIES ARE USED FOR QUALITY CONTROL :  SPECTROMETER: TO CONTROL THE IRON ANALYZE . SAND LABORATORY: TO CHECK THE SAND QUALITY IN MOULDING AND CORE MAKING . ULTRASONIC TESTING: TO CHECK INTERNAL SOUNDESS OF CASTING . METALLOGRAPHY: TO CHECK THE MICROSTRUCTURES . CHEMICAL LAB: TO CHECK THE  RAW MATERIALS QUALITY . PHYSICAL LAB: TO CHECK THE PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF CASTING SUCH AS TENSILE STRENGTH . DIMENSIONAL CONTROL FACILITIES FOR CASTING INCLUDING SECTIONING . NON – DESTRUCTIVE TESTING FACILITIES SUCH AS ULTRASONIC TEST . THERE IS ALSO TEMPERATURE MEASURING DEVICES INSTALLED ON FURNACE PLATFORMS AND POURING AREAS TO CHECK THE TEMPERATURE BEFORE POURING AND ALSO CARBON EQUIVALENT METER DEVICES .

47 Design Department This Section is Equipped with Advanced CMM Machines , Milling Machines , Cutting Machines and Lathes for Making and Repairing of Patterns and Core Boxes. In Addition , For Making of Moulds by CAD/CAM , we Use From Domestic and Foreign Companies .
