This is where you can play a little smoke a mirrors…..You can consider maintenance cost….no flange to protect etc on SST panel, no 42 bolts to remove to even begin the maintenance. What about breaker replacement? Easy as eating apple pie on the PowerPlex….no so with cast panel…or even our competitors version of the cast panel. The smoke and mirrors you play here will be the figure you come up with for maintenance? How often do they really maintain a cast panel is a good question….but to solidify our argument for higher initial cost we can spin this figure
