42 5 th and 6 th Grade Framework 5 th Grade Though a traditional elementary school make up in some cases, our 5 th grade teachers are able to meet and plan together daily, and our students experience more special area classes than previously. 6 th Grade The purpose of teaming is to make the larger middle school smaller. It connects the students to more teachers, but in a smaller way than high school. Teachers meet daily to plan and communicate as well.
