How to Develop a Sales Call What are you selling? What type of customer would buy/need this product? How do the features benefit the customer? (What would the customer gain from using this product?) What questions can I ask to determine the customers needs/wants? What objections could a customer have? How can I ask for the customers business (close the sale)?
Practice, Practice, Practice Shaking hands, asking (and repeating!) the customers name, using eye contact Opening dialog for building rapport Clarifying needs/wants Rephrasing and repeating back objections Asking for the customers business, closing techniques
How to improve the sales call ASK questions and LISTEN to the answers Ask for my business (dont be afraid of getting a no) Dont be a broken record of features and benefits Make it a dialog not a prepared speech (interaction with the customer is key) Make eye contact and dont read printed material to the customer Ask questions that get a yes Add testimonials Practice being a polished professional
