4 Collaborative agreement with CFS valued at 4 million dollars signed with newly formed Chatham Biotec Ltd. for exclusive rights to elite Canada yew plantation research and commercial development which will produce biomass 2 ½ times cheaper than wild biomass and be the lowest priced supply in world markets Joint venture signed with Naturol technologies to develop extraction of taxanes from green biomass. Contract signed with large US processor for 2 million lbs of processed green biomass. Drying and processing facilities established at Marine Extract Ltd. in Shippagan NB. 5 Supply contract signed with Quebec marketing board for green biomass in Gaspe. Contract signed with Quebec processor to supply processed biomass for plant start up. Contract signed with US processor for long term supply of processed biomass with yearly supply of 2- 4 million lbs. Long term processed biomass supply contract signed with large international drug company for processed wild and plantation biomass equivalent to 6 million lbs per year of green biomass. Refined extract plant custom built to supply intermediate for US GMP API contract supplier. 6 2004 Establishment of worlds first commercial Canada yew plantation using elite plants. Over 80, 000 seedlings from elite selection were planted in 7 acres. Plantation site selected for ideal growing climate and is fully automated. Biomass processing facility upgraded to handle million lbs per year green biomass with wood separation technology. 7 Expansion into Ontario and Nova Scotia. Granted permission to prune on crown lands in both provinces. 10 Contracts signed with large industrial landowners in NB for wild biomass harvesting rights. Wild harvesting auditing expanded to all areas, product certification proceeding. Begin a data base of all sites pruned to create a computerized inventory of Canada yew.
