Exposure to insurance/risk:
two weeks of work experience with Aon Benfield in (merger year, internship programme postponed).
Aon experience so far:
First of three placements: Asia Pacific Team. Broking role.
Property catastrophe reinsurance. Busy year with numerous earthquakes in New Zealand and Japan and flooding in Austrailia.
Work with many similar aged colleagues (graduates and interns) - solid and long-lasting network in the industry.
Interaction with senior management. (projects/meetings/presentations)
Client meetings and market facing roles from day one.
