California law requires all drivers to have auto insurance. Driving without insurance could result in fines, having your license suspended, and your car impounded. California Department of Insurance The State of Californias Low Cost Automobile Insurance Program provides low-income, good drivers with an affordable insurance option.
To qualify, you must: Have a good driving record Be at least 19 years old Have been continuously licensed to drive for the past three years Be able to meet low-income requirements Have a vehicle valued at less than $20,000 Live in one of the following counties: San Joaquin Stanislaus *also available in 14 other counties California Department of Insurance You may be able to get insured for less than $400 per year!
