They have experienced that REDIGERES I TOPP-/BUNNTEKST We have many pupils who never read books, but read on computer pages. Some pupils have never delivered a presentation before but now they have made a Photo Story presentation. In English I can see that the pupils are more motivated and work harder...they learns a lot when they use the Internet… I have seen that pupils who do not like to write now have managed to do their homework and the bright pupils become even better (female teacher 48 yr) Requires group collaboration in order to make a multimodal text, 2-3 must work together, they must also work at home.. I think the group process is important for evaluating the complex texts they provide. But it is an important process, how to work with multiple digital tools in the same product.
REDIGERES I TOPP-/BUNNTEKST Conclusion Recognize that change is a gradual and difficult process for teachers Extra work in the beginning Creates uncertainty, lack of coping, may seem threatening Possibility of failure, at risk of spending time on something that does not work Ensure that teachers receive regular feedback of students' learning outcomes Provide ongoing supervision, support and pressure The new must be a natural part of the teacher's repertoire Important to follow-up because education must be seen as a process and not as an "event".
